Not So Early Flights

Mud swallow fledglings were all lined up in the doorway of the barn as if they were waiting for the early morning fog to clear before their first flights.

This group of grounded flyers were not bothered at all by my rustling around the barn or by the animals coming in to eat their breakfast in the mangers.

Could it be that they were just waiting for the coffee shop to open before they headed off on a foggy commute?
