Splitting the Difference

The structure part of the barn is complete and now it is time to work on the fencing.

We refer to the acres around the barn as the bull pen. The area need to be spit into two separate pens so the younger animals will not be bullied by the older critters.

The fence starts at the back southeast corner of the barn. Two barb wires held by t-posts run across to the back fence. They will be charged with electricity to ensure the animals keep their distance from each other.

It is a good thing to get this fence up and ready because the five weaned bulls are ready to be moved from the barn they are currently in.
