Moving In Day

A tote of grain is being lifted and moved by a John Deere tractor. We are so happy to be moving into the new barn.

This is a bulk grain bag. Since we do not feed corn, the grain is made from grass and alfalfa screenings (the husks from the seeds) mixed with molasses and made into pellets.

Manger in new barn ready for the bulls to stick their heads in and eat.The five bulls that have already been weaned are in the pasture area adjacent to the barn and come inside just for meals.

The manger is kept filled with sweet grass hay and the bulls come and go as they please.

Between meals the bulls are free to roam the pasture and hang out under the large fir treeFive bulls that have been recents weaned roaming in the pasture.s by the road or the cedars a ways over.
