#76 Blackie had been looking like she could deliver any day but she managed to hold off until Mike and I were both away from the farm to do it.
Fortunate for us, she is an old hand at this baby business and she handled it without us hanging around.
When I came home from by wanderings for the day, Blackie had her new little one sleeping peacefully in a thicket of brush. When I walked past, the baby startled and jumped up heading right to her mother for comfort and a squirt of milk.
